1. While growing up, did you envision yourself to be anything apart from a cricketer?
For as long as I can remember, I had always wanted to play for India. And for that, my father started with my cricket training at a very young age.
2. Your most embarrassing moment in school?
You don’t want to know. (laughs)
3. Who is your role model?
Lance Armstrong. (chuckles)
4. Your favourite food?
Mom’s cooking. I always look forward to it whenever I get a chance to go home.

Dilwale Dhulaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ) and Remember the Titans
6. Your favourite cartoon character?
Suppandi
7. Apart from cricket, what are your other interests?
I like to taking photos. I always have my digital camera with me. I also enjoy listening to music.
8. Other than cricket, what other sport do you enjoy playing?
Soccer.
9. Do you admire any sportsperson outside the world of cricket?
Yes, Roger Federer.
10. On a parting note, what advice would you like to give to all kids?
To never give up and to always be a fighter.
