“Oh they’ve got a mental block against math”
“Math is just not a fun subject”
These are only two out of the many common misconceptions surrounding the subject of Math. Logic Roots is a company which has been started by alumni from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) along with experts in the field of math, to help make the subject more approachable and understandable.
Using board games, Logic Roots has set out to help children revise and understand different math-related concepts in a fun and relatable manner. If your child is a fan of Scrabble, then their board game, ‘Math Builder’ is definitely worth looking at! Fashioned around the concept of taking turns by placing tiles on the board, the game helps sharpen your child’s basic mathematical operations while they’re having fun. Another great way to use this board game is to revise concepts which your child has learnt in class that day. Take a break from the notebooks and try and use the game instead.
Targetted at the age group of 8 and above, the game can be played with 2-5 players, making it an ideal teaching and revision tool that can be used by the family or in a classroom environment.
