‘Just Add Magic’ is a live-action television series produced by Amazon Studios and is available to viewers on Amazon Prime Video. It is ideal for viewers between the ages of 6 – 11 years and is filled to the brim with adventure and magic.
The series is set in the town of Saffron Falls and centres around friends Kelly, Darby and Hannah. They accidentally come across a mysterious cookbook, when trying to bake a cake for Kelly’s grandmother. Through a series of twists and turns to procure ingredients, the girls finally bake the cake. However, when Kelly’s brother Buddy and Hannah eat a slice of the cake, they soon find themselves unable to talk!
‘Just Add Magic’ follows the lives of the three teenage girls as they navigate the tumultuous world of highschool, aided by the magical cookbook, filled with spells. The girls take it upon themselves to become to protectors of the book of spells, from forces of evil that threaten to misuse the book. They soon come to realize that they come from a long line of protectors – all of whom are trios of girls.
The series is a wholesome family show and focusses on the friendship of the girls and the love they share for each other.
