The 104 Storey Treehouse – Book Review

The 104 Storey Treehouse – Book Review

The ‘104 Storey Treehouse’ is the eighth book in Treehouse Series by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. What began as a 13 storey treehouse, has now added levels with each book, reaching 104 storeys! The treehouse adventures are a telling of the hilarious adventures of Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton in a combined text and comic strip format.

The humour can veer towards the realm of gross jokes and slapstick comedy but will have children rolling on the floor laughing. Children are immediately drawn to icky jokes and things adults would immediately find too gross. But coupled with comic illustrations, the book is an immediate hit.

Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton are a dream-team when it comes to imaginative and comical situations and zany adventures. Readers will discover joke writing pens, money-making machines, bun fights, never-ending staircases, and of course, a tremendous number of burps. A funny touch added to the newest instalment of the Treehouse Series is the introduction of jokes written at the bottom of each page. The jokes are a tickle to read and a great addition to the reader’s collection of jokes.

The book also contains a sneak peek into the next instalment of the Treehouse Series, leaving readers itching for more.
