Though the special effects used are not exactly top-notch, the movie does not fail to convey the sense of terror and doom caused by this awe-inspiring beast. The movie has some powerful scenes and also gives a clear message on the consequences of nuclear testing.
4. The Lost World (1925)

5. Dinosaur (2000)

Dinosaur is a more recent, animated Disney movie which has a dinosaur named Aladar for the main character. This orphaned dino is raised by lemurs and the movie follows the story of his life. This touching story intermingled with themes of courage and survival is truly a Disney classic.
