Baby’s Own Aesop (Pt II) – A collection of fables credited to Aesop, a slave and story-teller believed to have lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 560 BCE. These shortened Aesop’s fables, beautifully illustrated by Walter Crane. They were first published in 1887 and are put into limericks for the younger readers.
