Excerpt: Emulate Robert Frost’s “True Poetree”, an ode to your beautiful wooded friends.
Write a poem about a tree you may have planted, or one that you like to swing in or even a tree in your imagination. Your poem can rhyme, but even if it doesn’t, that’s okay. You can also draw a picture of the tree your writing about. Just gives your piece of work that extra touch.
